Our specialist teams provide person-centred, individualised, high-quality and responsive care for local people living with any life-limiting illness. Through specialist and compassionate care, we support patients and those closest to them, empowering them to enhance their lives, to live as well as possible, for as long as possible.
INPATIENT UNIT (IPU)
In the friendly, warm and safe environment of our IPU, the team provides short-term care and support. We provide complex symptom control and assessment, and periods of palliative rehabilitation to patients for them to manage their illness and be discharged home. We also offer specialist care for patients who are in the final days and hours of their lives.
